Tonoscopia is a visual music system that combines 1960s liquid light shows with audio-controlled lasers and water cymatics, created in collaboration with composer Kristian North. In this long-form piece, real-time computer vision analysis sonifies the live performance of a liquid light show, while analog audio synthesis techniques directly control the sound and shape of the lasers and cymatics. The central concepts of this project are media archeology, fluid dynamics, color theory, and geometric vibration
